Mary Anbarasi Johnson

She is a professor and Head of Pediatric Nursing Department, College of Nursing CMC Vellore, India. She has 33 years of experience in the pediatric nursing department. She worked as an Assistant Director of Nursing in Defense, Saudi Arabia, and Deputy Nursing Superintendent in CMC Vellore for a term of 4 years. She worked as a Registered Nurse in U.S for six months and then upgraded to assistant professor in Nursing and Clinical Nurse Specialist for a period of 30 months. She has been a paper setter, examiner for undergraduate and post graduate nursing students in six universities in India. She has been Inspector for undergraduate nursing programs and for nursing Board in India. She is also in the review team, editorial and advisory team in around 35 international and one national level journal. She has contributed to one WHO Manuel for Pediatric Emergencies. She has been a Master trainer for GFATM, an international WHO project and Master trainer for national projects such as ICMR Infection control project, IMNCI Project, National Child Sexual Abuse prevention and management work. She has also been Master trainer for OSCE under Doctor MGR Medical University. She is currently pursuing PhD in Management and MBA in Executive management. She received outstanding Scientist Award by the INSO, NGO body. She has published around 35 papers in national and international journals and has been a resource faculty for around 60 states, national and international conferences.
